Beware that voice in your head that tells you you can’t do something. I hear it every day: “I want to get fit before trying CrossFit”. What kind of logic is that?
CrossFit has been the entry point for millions of people to learn about, and finally accomplish true fitness. If you feel like to have to be fit to do CrossFit, what do you think might be the best way to get fit for it? Perhaps CrossFit is the best way to train for CrossFit?
The simple matter is, the voice in your head that tells you you can’t do CrossFit, or you should get in shape first, is nothing but your own fears standing in the way of your progress. Overcome your fears, and jump in… the water’s fine.
For those of you who’ve already jumped in and have accomplished your goals:
Beware the voice in your head that tells you what rewards you deserve after you’ve accomplished something. That’s the same voice that told you you couldn’t do it before you got started. It’s the same voice that tells you to quit when you’re in the middle of the shit and the end is not yet in sight.
If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward. There is no rest.
To successful people, idleness is punishment.
The only thing you should think when you get to the top of the mountain: “Where’s the next mountain?”
